Digital photography, C-print W25cm xH25cm This project is supported in part, by the Emerging Artist in Residence Program at Pilchuck Glass School. In the fall of 2014, I took part in a residency program at Pilchuck Glass School which is located in a woods of Nothern Washington State. The thin and iridescent membrane of the photographed soap bubble reflects Pilchuck’s campus and surrounding nature. On a clear autumn day, the idea for this piece suddenly came up to my mind when I found a toy bubble wand at the maintenance building.
